Red Dot Baroque celebrates its 8th birthday with a programme inspired by the Chinese mythology of 八仙过海 (“Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea”), pairing baroque works by Handel, Telemann, Biber and more with the legend of the Eight Immortals. By finding common threads between both Western and Eastern worlds, they look forward to continue growing as a vibrant group committed to the exploration of Baroque music, whilst retaining their uniquely Asian roots on our Little Red Dot. Since it is a birthday party, also expect games, camaraderie and lots of fun!
